Chef Tommy Pozzuto grew up on Long Island, New York, where his family owned bars and hospitality was just part of life. That upbringing stuck. He started cooking in a classic Italian kitchen, fell in love with the craft, and eventually made his way to South Florida — where he’s been doing his thing for over a decade.
Along the way, Tommy worked as a mixologist at PGA National Resort, managed front-of-house operations for large-scale events and private parties. He’s been featured on WPTV’s Artigras Chef Showcase and has cooked alongside some of the region’s finest as a recurring participant in the Swanks Dinner Series — two experiences that put his food in front of some of South Florida’s most discerning audiences.
These days he runs Elev8ted Private Chef & Catering, bringing his style of cooking — Italian comfort, classic American, Mexican street food, and a little New Orleans soul — straight to his clients. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a big event, he handles it the same way: good food, good energy, no shortcuts.
